Glad Day Lit Opening Weekend at 32 Lisgar

Join us for the Opening Weekend of Glad Day Lit, happening at 32 Lisgar, Toronto (West Queen West) from September 11–14, 2025.

This four-day celebration brings together six exciting events and over 20 authors sharing their work. From zine-making to live readings, puzzles in the park to queer community gatherings, there’s something for everyone. All events are FREE or PWYC.

  • Wednesday, Sept 10: Brockton Reading Series (6:30–8:30 PM)

  • Thursday, Sept 11: Button & Zine Making (6:30–9 PM)

  • Friday, Sept 12: Questionable – Everybody Edition (8–10:30 PM)

  • Saturday, Sept 13: Over 20 Authors Reading (12–4 PM)

  • Sunday, Sept 14: Jigsaw – Doing Puzzles With Strangers (1–4 PM)

  • Sunday, Sept 14: (H) Book Up in the Park – A Queer Read & Meet (5–7 PM)

📍 Location:
32 Lisgar Street, just off Queen West between Dovercourt and Gladstone. The entrance faces north towards the park.

The entrance and washrooms are wheelchair accessible, with elevator access between floors. The park also has multiple wheelchair-accessible entry points.
