Diapason follows Rana, a strong and independent middle-aged woman who holds a senior position at a major bank. After being abandoned by her husband while pregnant, she has raised her daughter Hoda on her own, devoting her entire life to her.
When Hoda’s birthday celebration at an amusement park ends in tragedy, Rana’s world collapses. As she struggles with unbearable grief, she must also navigate the cruel absurdities of a legal and cultural system that denies her justice and compassion.
With haunting performances and sensitive direction, Diapason is a searing portrait of motherhood, gender, and emotional survival, exploring how love persists in the face of systemic oppression.
