Our name originated because I was constantly reminded by my non-optician friends that my job was simple..
….. “BOOM – you’re done!”
They didn’t understand all the intricacies that come with the profession such as understanding the various types of lenses or coatings, the uncountable frame options and design, and the ability to fit the right pair of eyewear for each individual’s unique facial structures. Let’s not forget about finding the right pair to fit his/her lifestyle. Ironically though, coming up with our store name was THE simplest task to date … and that’s how Boom Optical began.
