The holidays are just around the corner, and we’re rolling out some pretty fun plans to light up the neighbourhood this December. Everyone is welcome to come to West Queen West and enjoy the festive vibes!
Window Decorating Contest
Calling all creative retailers! We’re challenging our West Queen West businesses to deck out their storefronts with the most dazzling, festive displays they can dream up. The top 10 windows will each snag a gift card as a thank you for making our street sparkle.
Here’s how it works: get your windows ready between December 8-15. Our judges will be making their rounds during that week, and winners will be announced by December 18. We’ll be out capturing photos of the winning displays between the 15th and 18th, so make sure your window looks camera-ready!
Social Media Contest for Everyone
Love a good Instagram moment? This one’s for you. Take a photo in front of any holiday-decorated business window along West Queen West, share it on your feed, tag us and the business to enter into the contest. We’re giving away 10 gift cards worth $100 each to randomly selected winners!

Santa’s Coming to Town (Three Times!)
Mark your calendars for the three Saturdays in December – the 6th, 13th, and 20th – because Santa Claus and his merry helpers will be carolling up and down West Queen West. It’s the kind of thing that’ll make you feel like a kid again, and trust us, you won’t want to miss it.
