The Commercial – Industrial Façade and Property Improvement Program provides funding to commercial and industrial property owners to redesign, renovate or restore commercial or industrial building façades.
Eligibility
Applicant must be the property owner or have the permission of the property owner
Building and property must be located in a Business Improvement Area (BIA)
Applicant must not owe outstanding taxes to the City
Applicant must not start your improvement project before the funding application is approved
Applicant must not have received the maximum façade improvement funding for your property in previous years
cafeTO
On February 5, 2021, City Council approved a report to authorize a reprisal of the CaféTO program from April 15, 2021 to April 14, 2022.
Registration for the expanded CaféTO program will begin in late February
The first approved CaféTO curb lane closure locations for 2021 would be in installed as soon as May.
Insurance Requirements
All applicants for CaféTO will be required to submit a complete Certificate of Insurance. Comprehensive Liability Coverage of at least $1,000,000 is required.
