As conversations around burnout, digital fatigue, and the limits of productivity culture continue to grow, a new concept in downtown Toronto is offering a simple alternative: sit still, together, every morning.

Stillness Meditation Club, launching May 18 in collaboration with Mula Yoga in West Queen West, is built around a straightforward idea — that consistency in meditation is easier to achieve in a shared, physical space.

Each weekday at 8AM, members gather for a 20-minute guided meditation designed to fit into the rhythm of a standard workday. The format is intentionally minimal: participants sit in silence, following a pre-recorded meditation in a calm, structured environment. Alongside the in-person sessions, members receive a daily meditation track in their inbox, allowing them to continue the practice from home or while traveling.

The concept responds to a broader shift away from fully digital wellness solutions. While meditation apps have made the practice more accessible, many users struggle to maintain consistency. Stillness aims to bridge that gap by combining physical presence with a simple, repeatable routine.

“Building a consistent meditation practice on your own is really hard,” says the founder. “We wanted to create something you can return to every day — a quiet, shared ritual that fits into real life.”

Located in one of Toronto’s trendiest neighborhoods, the club is designed for people navigating demanding, fast-paced work — offering a structured pause at the start of the day.

Early access is open until May 15, with a two-week free trial available for new members.
