The Emerging Playwrights Reading Series returns with a full day of staged readings showcasing bold new Canadian theatre voices. Presented by the EPRS Collective (Liza Hersh & Aurora McClennan), the series supports early-career playwrights through a one-week workshop led by established directors, culminating in public readings.
All works were selected through an open call juried by theatre professionals.
Day 1 features three original plays by Alten Wilmot, Kian Diab, and Anahita Dehbonehie, presented in rotating performances throughout the afternoon and evening.
Audience members are invited to stay and connect with artists during a community reception with free snacks in the early evening.
