Book Launch: Roger McTair’s My Trouble With Books at The Theatre Centre, 6 – 9pm. Roger McTair is a Trinidadian-Canadian writer, documentary filmmaker, and poet whose writing has been published in the Caribbean, Canada, and the U.S. He is also Ian Kamau’s father. The evening will feature readings from My Trouble With Books by Dionne Brand, Ramabai Espinet, and Carl James as well as speakers Rita Cox and Roger’s son, Ian Kamau.
