Pilot Interim Waste Removal Plan a Success
On Saturday June 27th the WQW BIA organized a Garbage Drop-off for our members.
Clearly everyone appreciated the initiative, for by the end of the 90 minute session, the 40-yard bin was full front-to-back and top-to-bottom!
A big thank you goes out to Woolfits for granting us all the use of their loading dock, and also to the Members who brought treats and beverages to the trash slingers.
WILL WE DO IT AGAIN?.....
Yes, if the strike continues we will repeat this process - Saturday July 4th - but this time at the East end of our district.
There will be an email and a flyer notification of the time, date and location of the bin.
