Calling all Queen West, West Queen West, and Parkdale BIA members!
The entire Queen Street West community is joining forces to help clean up our street in the midst of the Toronto Garbage Strike – and we need your help! We’re looking for dedicated BIA members in each of the Queen West, West Queen West, and Parkdale neighbourhoods to donate supplies and volunteer time to this initiative.
The BIA coalition will work with “Mark the Litter Guy” to coordinate this month long pilot project. Mark will help to coordinate the team of volunteers to pick up the garbage along Queen Street West from Roncesvalles to University Avenue.
Please help us in this effort to keep Queen Street West clean please contact your local BIA to find out how you can get involved
List of Supplies Needed:
* brooms
* work gloves
* wagons (to transport the full bags to the temporary storage bins)
* hand sanitizer
etc. (your ideas are welcome here!)
