Premiers at the Toronto International Film Festival.

"..Alongside big names Moby, Alice Cooper and Malcolm McDowell, Toronto's West Queen West has a starring role in a vampire rock and roll comedy premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

Suck follows a group of rock 'n roll wannabes in search of immortality and a record deal.

In the film the fictional fledgling band The Winners struggle to make a name for themselves as they play shows in Montreal, Toronto, Buffalo, New York and Pennsylvania.

But, anyone who frequents the west end of Toronto might notice Suck has a distinctly west-end look and feel.

Suck was written and directed by Beaconsfield resident Rob Stefaniuk, who shot the entire movie in the neighbourhood he loves...."
