The Analogue Gallery
Established by the daughter/mother team of Lucia Graca and Maria Lamon, Analogue will offer a continuously evolving selection of images from over fifty photographers. Analogue’s November 4th opening gala welcomes Barrie Wentzell and Rockarchive founder JILL FURMANOVSKY for an evening of art, music, wine, food, and anecdotes.
Analogue’s Creative Director, LUCIA GRACA, previously managed Rockarchive’s London gallery. She holds a Master’s degree in Photojournalism and has been a professional music photographer for the past five years. Financial Director MARIA LAMON is a former professional motorcycle racer and longtime corporate accountant.
The legendary Barrie Wentzell began his storied career in London at a particularly auspicious time for rock music: the outset of the 1960s. Working for Melody Maker for over a decade, he shot the biggest names in the industry, such as Jimi Hendrix, the Who, the Kinks, and Eric Clapton. He currently lives in Toronto.
In her more than three-decade career, Jill Furmanovsky has captured a vast array of the world’s most recognizable musicians, from Bob Marley and Blondie to Oasis and U2. The recipient of the prestigious Jane Bown Observer Portrait Award, she is one of her generation’s most respected photographers. Jill founded Rockarchive in 1998.
