Elizabeth studied fashion in medieval Porto Portugal, where she immersed herself in an education of old world charm and contemporary style.
Upon returning to her home in Canada, she took her place at the fashion studio of Crystal Siemens in Toronto,where she worked for three years, occupying many positions, design assistant, production manager and p.r. representative for the studio.

Opening her studio Labl in 2002, Elizabeth brought the concept of "Custom Clothing" to Toronto.
Since then, Elizabeth has worked in every field of the fashion industry but it is her love of traditional European techniques that brings her back to "haute couture" styling.  Having fallen in love with hand-sewing as a child watching her own mother sew, her studies in Europe encouraged her study in the fine art of fabric and construction.

Today, Elizabeth offers a variety of personalized consultation services to her clients, a wide assortment of custom jewellery, as well as a full stock of undergarment accessories.

At labl, the passion is designing beautifully constructed garments, with an exquisite approach to detail.
