MISSION

The West Queen West BIA is the voice of the local business community.  It is committed to improving and promoting the West Queen West area through investment and advocacy in order to maintain its position as one of Toronto’s premier shopping, business and entertainment destinations. It is also committed to maintaining the unique identity of the West Queen West neighbourhood through active communication and planning with other neighbourhood organizations and stakeholders.

OBJECTIVES

The purposes of the BIA are to:

1. Improve, beautify, and maintain municipally owned lands, buildings and structures in the area, beyond such improvement, beautification and maintenance provided at the expense of the City of Toronto at large;
2. Promote the area as a business, shopping and entertainment area; and
3. Do all things necessary and appropriate to achieve the foregoing in accordance with applicable legislation or authorities.
